Calvary Kids

Explore the ministry opportunities for your children at Calvary Longview

At Calvary Longview our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Jr. High and High School aged kids have separate meetings as well.

We would love to have you and your family visit us!

NOTE:

Children's Ministry is available during both services on Sundays at 9am &11am and every Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when checking into Children's Ministry for the first time:

First, head all the way down the main lobby hallway. To your right is our Kids Ministry area. There we will meet your family, & check your child in.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Checking In

After the above information is collected, we will issue your child a tag. You will receive a matching tag which you'll need to present to our staff after the service so your child can be released back to you. Please make sure that a parent or guardian is present with the child during check-in every Sunday for safety reasons.

Though you can check in any time, you won't be able to take you child to the classroom until 10 minutes before service. This gives our teachers time to prepare and pray before class starts. If for some reason your child does not go to class after being checked in, or if you must remove them from class early, please take your tags to an usher so that we can make sure your child is accounted for. The last thing we want is to think there's a missing child during an emergency!

At the end of the service, bring your tag back to your child's classroom to have them released back into your custody.

Save time at check-in by pre-registering!

Overflow Space

We offer childcare during service for infants. But we also have overflow space in our café that is available for moms and dads with crying infants.
